Nisse666 (313), Göteborg, Sweden Oct 29, 2009 1986-04-12, Can, one of the first ones i tasted the first time I was over to Scotland. Nice then not so nice noe (flavor). GG (1613), NorCal, California, USA Aug 6, 2009 Either a bitter or an IPA, it’s just really bad. The body is a dark amber/brown color, small off-white scant head. Aroma is earthy and wet paper. Flavor is caramel, butterscotch, wet paper, and dirty penny. Ugh. Bragesnak (2223), Aarhus, Denmark Jul 7, 2009 Bottled.
Amber with white head. Aroma of malt. Flavor is caramel, butter and not much hops Ryan82SM (231), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Mar 7, 2009 Aroma was kinda nutty with light hops. Appearance included a small head, and this beer was very similar to Newcastle in appearance. Flavor was kinda buttery and sweet with a negligible amount of hops. Palate was pretty much boring, as was this beer overall. Doesn’t deserve to be called an IPA. auderale (572), Fairchild AFB, Washington, USA Mar 1, 2009 Bottle: Amber colored pour with little off white head. Metallic, sweet aroma. Watery, hints of caramel, malty finish. Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Feb 22, 2009 Although this one was a bit watery I found it still had to typical characteristics as most Bitters. I quite enjoyed it and believe this beer is sort of underrated. Rciesla (3510), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Dec 25, 2008 Bottle a sixer of this sub par bitter/ipa. Pours an amber body with a thin fruity body overdone caramel malt character. Finish is an overpowering strong bitter hoppy flavor that dwells in your mouth. Beltramelli (471), Campinas, Brazil Sep 18, 2008 IPA dentro do estilo proposto, com alta percepção de lúpulo. O álcool é bem inserido. Final longo e levemente amargo.
