Chocolaty, amber color with an airy white head. Sweet malty aroma with a burnt or toasted characteristic. Extremely thin and watery. No malt, no hops, no yeast, just water. This is a drain pour.

Amber colour with ok off-white head. Aroma is sweet and malty, flavor is sweet and only slightly hoppy. I would not call this beer an IPA.

Didn’t really care for this one. But if appearance of a dark beer in your glass is what you want this one would be for you

Bottle. Poured a small ivory head with fair lacing, transparent, carbonated, and an orange hue. Aroma was malty and sweet. Flavor was sweet, malty and very, very mild hops and watery. Smooth and watery mouthfeel.

Dark amber in color. Almoust brown. Hardly has a head at all. Has a sweet aroma and taste. Find it a litte bit watery.

Can’t believe this is so lowly rated. Maybe it’s because it is very different than what you’d expect for an IPA. As an IPA I agree it isn’t very good. but as a ’beer in general’ I found it very enjoyable with lots of ’scotch’ like elements in the nose and body. Very earthy, smooth and clean. I’d drink it again.

This is a decent beer but I wouldn’t call it an IPA at all. Had some hints of scotch to it which baed on the country of origin dones’t surprise me. I don’t think its as bad as it suggests in some of these other reviews. However that being said its not a session beer or one I would purchase again.

Before I opened this up, I was worried. Scottish with a ghastly looking fire engine red label with some fruitcake giving a toast. I popped off the cap, and the smell was also negative. The first sip was completely flat and bitter, the same with all subsequent sips. This sets the standard for how NOT to make an IPA ... if it’s a bitter, then label it a bitter ale, completely misleading.
