Jul 26, 2004 This is a big dissapointment and that is mostly because of the label IPA. It has nothing to do with a IPA IMHO. It’s more like a Scottish ale and is the least hoppy McEwan’s I have got. Got it on the export bottle

Jul 18, 2004 After being disappointed at not finding this on tap as advertised, I tasted the bottle. Well balanced aroma with, of course, the hops predominant. Hoopy, clean taste with a nice hopos aftertaste. Failed my one minute head retention trial.

Aroma is a bit soapy, roasty malt.
Flavor is malty and sweet with hints of caramel and raisins.
