Bottle. Dark Brown Coloring with a bit of Red. Small Head. Caramel. Slightly Bitter. Pretty Smooth ....for the most part, uneventful.

A bit subdued in flavor; little hops bite but more malty than I expected. A bit nutty in taste. Not bad.

12 oz. bottle: frothy, off tan, slightly grey head: outrageously sticky and persistent. Sour, muscatel grape aroma with wet hop cones and soggy dough… clean palate, but with some sour flavours. Nicely carbonated…not the IPA that Americans are used to, this is more natural & rugged. Slight caramel sweetness in the finish, I like it.

Pours a dark red with a white head. No real aroma and the flavor is weak, weak and weak! This is a IPA? There are no hops in here at all? This is not even a plae ale. blah!

Draft Ugh. Pours a dark brown with little head. Aroma of steel and malt. Tastes like leftovers from a better beer. A little bitter, but no distinguishing features. Glad I didn’t by a sixer of it...

Pours light amber with a tiny soapy off white head. Looks nice. Toasted grain aroma. Citric flavours. Light on hops compared to the IPA norm. Caramel malts. Metalic. Sweet finish. Pretty good.

A very thin scottish ale and has an acidic finish. Though pretty decent for scottish ales, it is a bit overpriced.

Bottled. Poured a clear amber with no head. This had a malty aroma, but the flavor was very thin for a Scottish ale. Overpriced and bland.
