Jun 30, 2004 12 oz. bottle: frothy, off tan, slightly grey head: outrageously sticky and persistent. Sour, muscatel grape aroma with wet hop cones and soggy dough… clean palate, but with some sour flavours. Nicely carbonated…not the IPA that Americans are used to, this is more natural & rugged. Slight caramel sweetness in the finish, I like it.

Jun 11, 2004 Pours light amber with a tiny soapy off white head. Looks nice. Toasted grain aroma. Citric flavours. Light on hops compared to the IPA norm. Caramel malts. Metalic. Sweet finish. Pretty good.
