From reading the other reviews, I wonder if I had the same beer as eveybody else. I enjoyed this IPA. It had a nice toffee, carmel, and toasted malt flavor. However, I believe its a bit low in alcohol for a true IPA.

Bottle pours a deep amber with a dusty colored head and slipery lace. The aroma is hops, grass and hay. The flavor is bitter and some ale fruitiness, but not much. The palate is thin for an ale and fizzy. Overall, this one is not good.

This has a slight white head looks a little transparent. Aroma is not too appealing. Taste is ok a litle on the bitter nutty side.

I was expecting an IPA but this tastes like Newcastle but not quite as good. How can they call this an IPA? There are no hops whatsoever. I mean, none. I tastes like your run of the mill boring ale. Thank GOD I didn't buy a full six of this. Not recommended. Very disappointing.

Pours light amber with medium off-white head. Sweet candylike smell. Bitter like most English ESB's but also sweet at the same time. Yeast is the flavor of the day in this one along with an acidic taste that stings the back of my tongue. Thin body and lack of balance.

I didn't think it tasted too much like India Pale Ale. But that alone doesn't mean much. The taste, however does. I found the flavor to be somewhat devoid of excitement. It's not that it was without character, just not tasty in my opinion. Too yeasty for me. Not enough body to the taste. It also seemed to be excessively carbonated which is strange since it yeilded very little head. I must admit that I don't fully understand this beer.

Too sweet. Too sweet. Too sweet. Yuck. I thought this was an IPA. Maybe they put the wrong labels on these bottles.

Pours nut brown with a small fizzy off-white head that dissipates to a patchy film. Sweet medium roasted caramel malt (cookie, meal) and fruity citrus hop nose. Medium acidity and fizzy malt flavor with sour yeast (sweat) character and a lightly bitter hop finish. Medium bodied and dry fizzy palate.
