A bit disappointing. I found this bland and uninteresting. Seriously laking as an IPA and a bit off in general.

Scottish Courage should be sued for calling this an IPA. After falling in love with the style, this was one of the first one's I bought off the shelf. If it had been THE first, I probably would have been loathe to try another. A slight notch above most American Standards, but too sweet, small hop profile, and watery. Nothing impressive.

Looks good. Sweet aroma and taste, hard to discern that I was drinking a beer and not a cream soda. Awful

Poured a rich amber color, decent white head. Aroma is malty with a touch of hops. Flavor is rich and not overly hopped. Not a bad beer at all.

Draught. Golden-brown body. Fruity malt aroma. Flavor of buttery diacetyl, herbal hops, and a note of peat and smoke. Weak and boring.

I had this one a while ago and loved it. My taste has chaged alot scince then. Pours a nice dark brown with a minimal off-white head that settles with a descent lace. The aroma is roasted malts and fruit with a little hop in the back ground. Taste is much like the wee heavy watered way down. It is, how ever, crisp and clean and easy to drink. Scottish Ale Light.

This is one wimpy IPA! Although it looked and smelled quite good, it's tast was weak for the style and without the rampant hoppiness that I think a true India Pale Ale should have!

Very dark brown, no head. Smells fruity and nutty. Brown ale flavor. Not very bitter for the style. Good though. Nuttiness in the finish is nice.
