The first time I drank this I was shocked - I expected a hoppy - rip your face off - IPA. It isn't anything like that - smooth, mellow and is the best IPA I have found anywhere. Pours with a two-fingered off-white head that goes slowly and leaves a good lace. Nice clear amber color.

Reddish copper. The head was quite thin and lifeless. Aroma and flavor were more caramelly than hoppy, but the beer itself was drinkable and enjoyable.

22 ounce can. Opens up with a dry and bitter hoppy bite. Warms up slightly with some type of pale or crystal malt providing more depth. Hops are quite flavorful and slightly rusty/metallic in flavor. Overall has a medium body and good carbonation level. Finishes very light however as the hops trail off. Reminds me of Stone's products. Interesting that it doesnt taste of cascades. Would benefit from more malting.

I wondered if this one was skunked, but judging by others ratings, it is just a bad beer overall. Big fruity aroma and flavor, apples plums, grapes, it’s vinegary like a cider. Nice mahogany color, momentary fluffy head, lots of lacing. Zero, Nil, Zilch, Nothing, No hops presence at all…. Nothing exciting; actually was pretty crappy.

Kind of dark brownish color, at least for a pale ale =) The taste is not nearly hoppy enough for an ipa imho. But allright

One of the most drinkable beers ever. Not an IPA by any stretch,(or they must have had some fast freaking ships in Scottland for this one to survive the trip to India). A smooth amber with a price tag to choke on. For the price the local micros have it beat by a long shot.

Dark brown water with little flavor. A waste of time and shipping expense to export this mis-labeled drainpour.

Can, aboard ship IJmuiden-Newcastle. Sweeyish flavor, butterscotch. Only slight bitterness, some orange. Metallic aftertaste.
