Fruity, chewy and sweet. Moderate carbonation. Caramel apple note. Mild bitterness in the finish. Not bad, but somewhat boring.

Disappointing. Pours light to medium brown with a thin light brown head. Aroma is caramel and slightly bitter. Bland taste, a touch of bitterness.

(bottle) Pours a medium, white head and a light amber body. Nose of sweet malt. Clean, malty taste. IPA Bandwagon beer.

This Scottish Ale sure has tilted a lot of kilts. My batch had a pretty decent nose (roasted malts). Amber appearance, not too cloudy. But nothing in the flavor or palate grabbed me. Wonder why they are exporting it when there are so many better beers over there and here

Does something have to be overhopped and undrinkable to be considered an IPA nowadays? This tastes pretty good for a low hopped IPA. Maybe it's closer to a pale. Whatever it is, I like it. The perfect beer for a fish and chips dinner covered in malt vinegar.

Ok Im pissed off! This is NOT an IPA! Its the scottish ales answer to a bud light. This couldnt be more misleading! Why not just put some Heineken in a dark 750ml bottle, cork it, and rename it Holland Belgian Strong Ale?! These guys should be sued for false advertising. Aside from that nonsense. THE GOOD NEWS : Aroma is faint but good and malty, apearance is dark orange/brown. BAD NEWS : Tastes like a scottish ale with a big 'ol splash of water. Palate is a tad bitter but mostly water. Ive never tasted anything quite like this nor do I wish to again. Im confused by this whole experience and I am going to be suggesting a new style called Scottish Light be put on the site!

Crystal clear amber body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lace left behind. Slightly sweet and bready malt aroma with a tiny hint of hops. Slightly sweet hoppy flavor with good malt notes and a bitter hoppy finish. Not a real complex or strong flavor. IPA? I don't think so. Light to medium bodied and smooth.
