| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 1, 2007 Bottle. Brown amber with a faor head. Malty and hoppy aroma. Thye flavour has a nice hoppiness, good maltiness,
slight sourish and with a little nuttiness.
Bitter finish. Not an IPA at all. MullMan (1081), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 11, 2007 brownish pale copper color, slightly cloudy & glossy. very short light tan head that disappears quickly. aroma is a little bit like simple sugar syrup/honey water, and light malt. flavor is mild to weak peaty malt, some light tea and faint caramel malt. hops not so strong, body is mostly watery. I don’t understand why they call this an IPA. spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 29, 2006 Not very hoppy for an IPA, but there was a hint of floral IPA hops, but only just. IPAs in my mind should have a bolder hop finish, and this was nothing more than a malty Scottish ale with some extra hops thrown in at the end of the boil. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 7, 2006 Surprisingly simular to their scotch ale... although not as heavy and not as dark in color. MALTY! biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 2, 2006 Not bad, but nothing like what I expected. I thought my beer had been mislabeled until I read others comments. Tasted and looked more like an Octoberfest than IPA. Brown in color with little head, lower alcohol content, and no hoppy bitterness. This is nothing like an IPA. Still, it was pretty drinkable. TheBeerOrg (1577), Kentucky, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 26, 2006 Pours light amber with a thin mostly receding light white head. Aroma is sweet flowery and fruity, notes of funky alefruits. Taste is buttery, sweet caramel, and alefruits. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, soft with light foamy carbonation. Enjoyable fruity IPA from England. themadmumis (344), Westminster, Maryland, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 25, 2006 There’s nothing much I, P, or A about this brew. Tastes nice, but not an IPA. Can distinictly taste pasteurization which gives it a slight stout nose with creamy looking head. Not bad, not what I expected.
