Deep Brown with ruby reds, thick tan tight head. Lovely sweet enticing aroma.Very thick and syrupy mouth coating, perhaps a bit too much, molasses plums toffee and cola. Very sweet but very slight hops/roast bitterness stops it from becoming sickly. Even so could only have 1 at a sitting.

Pretty close to expected style with malt forward taste and rich body. Alcohol is well hidden. Malts are quite attractive with perhaps some smoked malt in there. A bit too sweet for a session beer but goes very nicely with hot thai food.

Very interesting experience. One of these will probably do most people, very thick (felt like I needed a knife to cut it) heavy dark, strongly aromatic and very very sweet, I had a hard time finishing mine...

12oz bottle. Beautiful brown body with ruby red running all the way through. Small tan head that is mostly diminishing, just leaves a loose collection of foam and bubbles when things are all said and done. Some very sparse lacing is left behind as well. Nose of Diacetyl, peat smoky malts, some hint of the ABV, toffee and molasses. Fore is more buttery sweetness, smoked malts, toasted grains, toffee and more sweetness. Back end continues to be very sweet, with more smokiness and toasted notes as well. Alcohol is not noticeable in the flavor profile. Medium bodied, coating the tongue. Low carbonation. Finish is smoky, sweet, and very lengthy. In the end too sweet for me,. and not enough smoked or peat notes to balance everything out. Worth trying once, but I think drinking multiples would be sickening because of the sweetness.

Caramel malts on the nose, buttery, slightly metallic, with traces of brown sugar. Dark brown, medium tan head, good lacing. Relatively sweet caramel malt and brown sugar. Potency is good, mouthfeel is slightly thin. Delayed hop finish that never really gets there. The sweetness at midpalate doesn’t work for me, but otherwise it is fine. Somewhat unique.

Pours dark caramel, reddish tones with a massive head. Sweet taste the high alcohol is virtually undetectable. Very good. Highly recommended.

Bottle. Pours a nice amber with an aroma of peat and malt. Flavor follows suit, with notes of nut thrown in as well. Average mouthfeel. Nice beer to revisit every once in a while.
