Pours deep reddish brown with light tan head. Sweet coffee and butterscotch nose. Tastes of malt, butterscotch, molasses, and caramel. Overall, a nice liquid dessert.

Can’t really say much for the aroma, nice looking beer though. Very dark brown pour, almost black, small off white head that didn’t really stick around for much of the show. The flavor was pleasant, the tastes remind me of chocolate, coffee, malt, and maybe some toffee or something with a strong black licorice finish. It was sweeter than I expected, but I still really enjoyed the beer.

Very flavorful malt profile. The small bitterness is a nice subtle contrast. Simple yet enjoyable.

A very dark brown pour with a small off white head. The aroma was metallic at first but as it warmed a little it was mild chocolate, malts, and maybe a little coffee. Aroma started out a 5 and as it warmed turned into an 8. Flavor is quite good. Rich malts, slight nuttiness, and a tad of butterscotch. Really takes a nice turn as it warms. Creamy to the palate.

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark brown with red tint. Thin tan head. Very little aroma. This is the sweetest beer I’ve ever had. It is delicious with a nice malt flavor with only a hint of roastiness.

Very good brew. Poured a lot darken than I though a "regular ale" would be. The smell was probably the weakest part of the brew. Very simple and not a ton of aroma. THe tast and drinkability pretty much made up for the rest. A very very good brew

Strong smell of scotch (so it lives up to it’s name) mixed with some malty undertones.. Deep dark brown with a little red in colour. Sweet and a little metallic in taste, perhaps some butterscotch and yummy malt. Quite nice overall.
