Pours a dark brown with an off-white head. Tastes of chocolate, caramel, toffee, and of course, molasses. Aroma is similar. Alcohol is definately present, but not overpowering. Fairly well balanced beer. Very different, and I like it, a lot.

Pours dark dirt brown with small tan head. Aroma is way too sweet, chocalate, caramel, and lots of alcohol. Flavor is surprisingly just as sweet as the aroma. Lots Bitter-sweet chocalate, a hint of toffee, some very mild bitterness, and a bit of alcohol. Palate is medium, with some notes of chocalte, but mostly bitter-sweet alcohol. Overall, it’s an odd brew. Fairly unbalanced, not too bad, but not real good.

Typical of style. Brown body with hints of chocolate in the nose. A little bit of a sharp bitterness before the malt takes over. Hints of peat and smoke. Better at warmer temps.

Bottle. Dark brown color with small white head. Malty aroma, rather sweet, burnt, caramel. Smouth palate, little sweet. Finish is light sweet-bitter, roasted. Very enjoyable.

Nice light brown head, aromas of caramel, toffee. You can definitely taste the alcohol... You have to drink this one room temperature, flavors are preaty much the same as the aromas... a little nuttier. Somewhat good beer...

This had a strong aroma of hops and sweetness.Color amber. It tasted like scotch, which I don’t like.Quite a shocking taste when I ’m used to the typical IPA’s.This has a strong body and taste.I don’t know if it was the alcohol kicking in,but after I had a few swigs it wasn’t all that bad.Just not my style.
