Delicious. It’s a thick beer with an amazing flavor that hits you like a mack truck. It’s a strong ale flavor backed up by some malt/chocolate sweetness. Very pleasant.

Deep dark color. Malty and sweet aroma. Flavor is of roasted barley, chocolate malt and light hops in the finish.

Deep, cola-brown with brandy-red highlights, festive carbonation & a staunch, khaki head. Aroma starts vinegared, later revealing fresh bell pepper, syrupy toffee malts and an oak & whisky backdrop. The liquor comes and goes in the flavor with added vanilla. Lingering vinegar sourness fades over time. Alcohol shows but sweet malts prevail. Very creamy mouthfeel with a syrupy throatfeel that prolongs the sweetness and increases the warmth.

Dark brown, small white head. Malty aroma, rather sweet, burnt. Smouth palate, little sweet. Finish is light sweet-bitter, roasted. Very enjoyable.

Bottle. Syrupy malt aroma. Cola brown color with slight film of a head. Very sweet flavor - slightly burnt syrup primarily. A bit cloying. A nice beer but just not a style I greatly enjoy.

Bottle. Clear brown color with a large rocky off-white head that was mostly lasting. Good caramel tawny port aroma. Medium body with syrupy texture. Full heavy sweet flavor with a sweet finish of long duration. Very enjoyable brew.

i think this is a very nice one. it’s not super complex, but all constituents well integrated. nice carbonation level. finish seems on the "staler" side. palate left with not the kindest reminder of the brew. all in all a tasty one and a very good value. 6 pack for $7.99 or whatever... a great deal for this beer.

Dark reddish brown with a short head. Deep malty, fruity aromas. Very sweet tasting roasted malt flavors with hints of brown sugar and chocolate. A malty finish and long-lasting aftertaste. Very tasty and satisfying.
