Bottled 330ml. -as Golden Fire Strong Lager. Courtesy of and shared with Doggythedog/heavy (thanks!).
Dark golden coloured, small white head, strong sauerkraut nose. Honeyish malty, slight alcoholic and again sauerkraut. Unpleasant one, spoilt bottle???

30/10 A 0.33 l bottle from a gas station near Voghera. Same bottle as the previous two raters, of course. It had golden body with medium sized head. Weak sourish aroma, cidery and slightly corny. Honey malt in the flavor, alcoholic for sure with some corny sourish notes. Really boring and after all, thin bodied. Warming, alcoholic finish. ESL? Where are the hops...this is a bad and relatively unpleasant beer. Ready for the dragon?

Found at some gas station in Italy (brewed at Heineken Italia’s Comun Nuovo plant), shared with heavy and ogivlado
Nice full golden colour, medium persistent thick white head. Sauerkraut and honey in the nose. What the heck. Typical kinda honeyish maltiness for the strength but lacking the sweetness... some alcohol, oily, some vegetables (less krauty than before), not pleasant but not too assertive.

Draft, Rome/Italy: Clear yellow colour,no head at all. Aroma of Lots of sweet maltynes, some fruitynes and a dust. Flavor was sweet malty, some alcy mixed with a bit caramely mouth feeling, short finish, thin to medium body.

tap in Rome or Florence, I forget, but it was at the same place I got the Red on tap. The menu listed the abv as 8%. This beer pours golden with a medium sized head and good lacing. It has a sugary malt aroma with a hint of citrus. The flavor is very sweet with just a little hops in there. The high alcohol is buried under all that sweetness. I actually thought this was an enjoyable if simple strong lager.
