Low carbonation, very low citrus aroma with a light ruby color. Half inch of head that diminished quickly. Not great after taste maybe due to the 8% alcohol content without any hoppy flavor, more of a dead light beer. harrisoni (6800), Ashford, Kent, England

Some fruit. It’s a bit syrupy in the middle, ok oon finish, bit of a sting. chriso (4796), London, Greater London, England
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 3, 2009 500ml can (no best before date). Generous head. More dark amber than red really. A handsome beer nonetheless. Some vague gluey notes in the aroma. Otherwise rather malty, as expected, with a hint of dry bitterness. Bland, but not as bad as I expected, especially as it had been sitting around for at least a year. Says brewed under license from Murphys on the can so I guess it is probably higher ABV brew for the Italian market - just the sort of thing that seems to be popular in Italy - based on the Murphys Irish Red (which is actually produced in the Netherlands these days). And most, if not all, of the Murphys Irish Stout is actually contracted out to Inbev at their plant in Wales. I’m rambling. I’ll stop now.
