Draft at the brewpub. Straw yellow with some white head and thick lace. Lots of orange peel and a touch of coriander. Some caramel and toffee as well. Lots of fruit and spice with a certain wheaty character and a caramel undertone. Medium/full body with medium carbonation and a malty finish. Not the best example of a wit but a decent drink none the same.

Draft. Small white head that mostly diminished, spotty amounts of lacing, cloudy, no carbonation observed, and a straw hue. Nose was weak, lightly hoppy sweet, some fruitiness and spicy notes. Ditto for the flavor. Smooth mouthfeel and light in body. Lacks character as the nose and flavor were weak. Not impressed.

This draft brew from a beer festival poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a hazy yellow-orange colored body. The weak aroma was malty. The smooth mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a bubbly aftertaste. The weak flavor contained notes of malt mild hops chamomile and floral. An OK brew just nothing special.

On tap at the brewpub: poured cloudy lemon yellow with a frothy white head. Has that bologna/meat flavor like most Belgian Wits have. Not that that’s a bad thing. Mildly fruity. Full bodied and pretty tasty.

Light pale golden color. Decent white head. Good mild hop flavors wit nice restrained ester presence. Mouthfeel was pleasant smooth. Finish just the rignt amount of tang. Nice beer.

Draft-brewery-Pensacola. I had this before dinner on a trip to Pensacola 2 summers ago, but just found my notes. It was very light in color with a pure white head. Now I love this style, and this might have been the best meal of my life, so I am more than a little biased. It was very tasty, great wheat flavor with just enough spiciness. Very crisp and refreshing, perfect after a long day of lounging at the beach! I can’t believe that it has not been reviewed before now, I certainly hope that they still brew this wonderful beer.
