Commercial Description:
Not for everyone -- but if a rich, creamy, dark ale with a distinguished roast flavor appeals to your taste buds you will enjoy a pint of McGuire's Stout. To produce the sumptuous, creamy head we use a special nitrogen draft system. This robust brew is created with dark roasted barley and Chinook hops.

Dark brown. Creamy head (nitrogen). Nice chocolatey fudgey aroma. Rich, soft, sweet with an off-dry finish. Lots of chocolate, lightly toffeeish goodness.

on nitro-pours a retaining tan ring for a head that laces and black with red tint for color. Aroma is dark malt-roasty, dry. Taste is dark malt-roasty/some chocolate and coffee, dry, some earthy/chicory hops bite. Nice but not my style.

Draft sampler at FBGF. Pours a dark brown color with a moderate creamy light brown head that diminished slowly. Moderate roasted malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Average roasted coffee malt flavor with a moderate smooth finish.

Black as night, but a weak head. Real watery. Smoky overtones, but poor palette degrades it.

Arrived at the table with an inviting thick toffee colored head that lasted the entire pint and left plenty of lacing. Deep, thick, jet black appearance. Faint chocolately notes in the aroma with a wee bit of roasted coffee. Flavor is sweet - but not sickenly so - akin to bittersweet chocolate. Excellent mouthfeel - velvety to pin a label on it. No bitter aftertaste. Worth the trip to Pensacola to try this everyone - great establishment as well.

On Nitro draft at Florida Brewers Guild Fest 2007. Poured black with tall creamy light brown (mocha) head. Light aroma consisting of roasted and burnt malts. The flavor starts of kind of neutral and slowly coffee, roasted and burnt malts come to the surface. Into the dry finish the burnt malts seem to take over.

"Irish Cream Stout." Deep almost opaque black. Brown head, lots of nitro lacing. Asphalt, cocoa, and subtle fruits. Creamy mouthfeel. Loads of cocoa, lingering dark chocolate finish. Yum.
