I like it. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Dec 1, 2008 on tap-pours an off white ring for a head and amber color. Aroma is light/medium malt, some fruity hops. Taste is light/medium malt, some fruity/spice/perfumy hops bite. tjthresh (1746), Greenfield, Indiana, USA Sep 12, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours was a brownish orange with a nice off white head. The aroma was a toasty with some fruity and toffee notes. Very low level of hops. The flavor was certainly malty with only a little bit of sweetness in the finish. Medium body and average carbonation. I guess I liked it fine. I drank two pitchers. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA Mar 7, 2008 Draft. Small off-white head that was mostly lasting, splotchy amounts of lacing, no carbonated observed, transparent, and a golden hue. Nose was malty and caramel and ditto for the flavor. Mostly smooth mouthfeel and light-medium in body. Quaffable for the style, but nothing that left me wanting more. thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Feb 1, 2008 This draft brew brought up from Florida for the Mad Anthony Oktobeerfest poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of semi-sweet malt and crisp hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again. Definitely was more ale like than a classic Marzen.
