Dec 20, 2007 Draught into pint glass in Destin. Very light mouthfeel for a porter. Aroma and flavour coffee, roasted malt, and dusty. Decent porter.

Sep 12, 2007 Draft at the Pub. Poured a very dark brown with a small tan head that lasted to the end. Aroma of dark roasted malt and coffee. Earthy flavor of dark malt and coffee. Lightly carbonated and not too cold. A very drinkable porter.

Sep 8, 2007 Updated: Sep 18, 2007Had this on draft at McGuires’s Irish Pub in Pensacola, FL. Poured a very dark brown color with nice white head that hung around a long time. Aroma was roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor was very subtle: roasted malt, chocolate, with a little nuttiness. Mouthfeel was very smooth with little carbonation. Drinkability was good.

Jun 11, 2006 Poured the usual brownish color with a nice head and nearly continuous lacing. The aroma and flavor were fairly one-dimensional: coffee. Certainly was enjoyable, but lacking any complexity. Roasted flavors came out to play at mid-glass, but not to any level of stunning-ness. A good but on par beer with others. Mouthfeel was moderate. A nice beer.

Mar 6, 2006 Brown pour, thin head, coffee, chocolate, hoppy and bitter, with a bitter irony aftertaste and kinda watery, didn’t really like this.
