Commercial Description:
Each batch of this light, fruity ale is made with 84 lbs. of raspberries puree. It has a brilliant pinkish tint and a hint of natural raspberry tartness. Introduced in the Spring of '94, it was so popular that we now brew it year 'round.

This was a light and refreshing beer. There was light carbonation and a distinct raspberry flavor that lingers on the tongue. Nice mellow beer. This is not usually what you would go to an Irish pub for, but I tried a sampler on my last visit.

Not a bad wheat beer. The beer is not overwhelmed by the raspberry. It’s pretty good in that sense. You can taste the wheat in it, and it’s a pretty decent American wheat beer.

Draft at Destin location. Clear copper color in the glass with a white head that left light lacing. Big aroma of raspberries and some wheat in the background. The flavor was of wheat, bread, a mild amount of raspberry. Medium body and a bready aftertaste.

Blah, too much raspberry. How can I rate this fruit beer? No wheat character, all lost to the fruit in both aroma and flavor. Well, the lacing was pretty nice, along with a decent initial head. Really pink color was a turn off. Only plus, was a notable hops presence. Not a good beer. Note: by recommendation of the server, I tried this with the porter (not a black and tan, both beers mixed quite well) and found that there is a good use of this beer. The concoction exceeded Weyerbacher’s and Magic Hat’s raspberry / stout style brews.

The aroma has raspberries and malt. The appearance is lifeless and a bit red. The flavor is like the aroma and a bit acidic. Thin palate. The aroma is not bad but the flavor is a bit off, still this is pretty good.

On tap at the brewpub: poured light orange/pink with a small white head. Moderate raspberry aroma. Flavor is raspberry of course but mildly so. Slight sourness present also. A nice beer that’s well made and goes down smooth.

This was more red than their Irish red ale. Had a candy like fruit aroma, rather one dimentional but not bad. A good flavor, though I thought it tasted more like chery than raspberry. Easy wheat also. Thin body but a nice refreshing drink overall.

Huge aroma of artifial berryesque sweetness. Tea colored leaning toward an almost amber color. Extrememly watery foretaste. Cereal and berry flavoring in the middle and after taste. Kinda yucky.
