(Bottle 75 cl) Very unclear dark amber with a creamy, off-white head. Discreet aroma of caramel. Sweetish, full body with loads of caramel. Lightly hoppy finish. Decent, but doesn’t really do too much for me. 270106

Bottled no 10 of 36: Amber coloured. Unclear amber/orange coloured. Light brown dense head. Sweet, alcoholdense, malty and fruity aroma. Flavour is sweet, caramelly, fruity and full of alcohol. Alcohol is not too much, but still quite dominant. Medium bodied. Has a nice warming profile in the end.

An unclear orange beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, wood, and alcohol, while the flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of over ripe fruit. The alcohol is very well hidden in the flavor.

07.09.05 750ml bottle, RBSG. Dark amber-red, small head. Lots of oxidation in this brew shows its age. Big and brawny with dust, prune, sherry in background. Old and oxidized barley wines rock, if only for the aromas.

(750ml bottle, RBSG05) Lightly hazed amber body with off-white head. Aroma is sweet, big malt-caramel, fruity (raisin, apricot, cantalope), some alcohol. Taste is sweet, caramel, cantalope, light alcohol. Medium-full body. The promise contained in the lovely aroma is not carried through to the taste.

Pours turbid copper/ruby with minimal head (which is expected for 10% beers). Aroma of complex fruit, malt, caramel, some tobacco. Wonderful, complex taste. The finish is full bodied and complex. This one is a masterpiece!

750 ml bottle. Cloudy copper color with no real head to speak of. Aroma is candy sugars with some hope of a similar Bigfoot taste ahead. Somehow the flavor falls just a bit short however. Tastes a bit like sugar soaked cardboard. Nice use of hops though making this easy drinking. Taste has a little toasted biscuit flavor and a nice warming effect. Close but not quite there.
