Part of the sampler. Nice roasted coffee flavor and smell. Was a little weak and watery however.

Pours blackish with medium, creamy white head. Aroma of malt, chocoff, and some cabernet. Tastes malty, with big chocoff, slight almonds, and a medium, very smooth roasty finish. A very nice stout.

Deep red. Light roasts, bit of coffee. Very nice. Kiss of roasts, then a rich molasses sweetness, then a great roast/hop finish. Great coffee/hop bitterness.

Small creamy tan head, fair lace. Black brew. Pleasent grainy, roasty nose, hints of coffee and chocolate. Good roast, coffee and light vinous notes. Finish is dry, roasty, an earthy grainess. nice oatmeal stout.

Draught: No aroma. Poured clear dark-brown/black, with a large, lasting, creamy white head. Excellent lacing. Little flavor was short and moderatly sweet, with a bitter and salty finish. Flavor was of dough or smoke, or a combinationof the two. Light body. Thin texture. Soft Carbination. Overall, I would drink something else.

Sample at the brewpub. Black velvet, with a smallish lasting chocolate head. Light but distinct chocolate-espresso nose. Smooth, grapy-pruney flavors, full but not thick body, very light bitterness to finish, virtually no carbonation. Best of the samples I had.
