Reddish copper colour. Plenty of tangy, oily, resinous hop bitterness. There is a slight underlying toffeeish note, maybe even a hint of smoky malt but it’s the hops that dominate. A nicely assertive biter that punches well above its weight. SilkTork is right - I do like this.

Good, solid beer, well done. Not quite to my taste, but pulls well above its strength. Tastes like Fullers ESB. I should think that Chris_o will like this. maeib (4776), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England

Quite dark for a bitter, and i’m sure the guy behind the bar said it was stronger than 3.6%, i could be wrong. This was a loveley bitter, richer than you’d expect a bitter to be. This was quite earthy, with a toasty malt character and some light roastyness. Wholemeal grain characters, with touches of dark fruit. Some nice citric hops in the finish and some nice bitterness. Quite rich/full bodied for a bitter. thebeertourist (2838), Oslo, Norway

Fruity hop aroma. Citrussy hop flavours on a caramel toffee base. Light to medium body, dry mouthfeel. An agreeable new bitter in one of London’s best neighbourhoods.
