Aquilo (168), California, USA Sep 2, 2008 Pitch black with a small light tan head. Smell is like a fresh sticky cinnamon bun. Raisins, some yeast, very sweet. Flavor is nice and sweet too. Cinnamon, cardamom, brown sugar. Very smooth, medium bodied. This was soooo good! dkoonce (750), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA Aug 20, 2008 Tasted at the Powerstation at the Edgefield resort. Dark, with a creamy head that laces well down the side. Smoky, coffee smell, with sweet malt as well. Smooth, with a roasted malt, coffee that compliments the sweetness. carboloader (300), Houston, Texas, USA Jul 28, 2008 On tap at Old St. Francis School in Bend. Pours dark brown/maroon with decent head. Roasted malts, coffee flavors, reveal a typical porter style to me. Bitter finish -- an interesting combination of sweet malts and roast, but pretty average overall. IrishBoy (2165), Bakersfield, California, USA Jul 11, 2008 Draft at Roseburg Station; Nose of coffee, chocolate, and a light whiff of hops; dark transparent brown with a small, glass-lacing, beige head; Flavor is coffee and light bitterness. Imaena (259), Portland, Maine, USA Jun 26, 2008 Draught @ Olympic Club WA 08’.
Black and bitter. Coffee and chocolated with an over roasted cap. It was an average porter with a few odd twists. Go for the Terminator.
