These small batch brewers are artists to say the least. I love mcmenamins so much I married the love of my life at kennedy school and we enjoyed all of the beers the had to offer that night, the next day, and every winter since.

Unfortunately I do not remember the details so I am entering this primarily as a record of having tasted them. Hopefully I will make it back out to a McMenamins again someday and get better notes. troopie (909), USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 26, 2008 On tap at the Spar in Olympia, WA. Pours a mahogany brown color with a medium tan head that stays around for a while. Aroma is floral with citrus as well. Flavor has malts up front, but the hops gives it sweet/bitter finish. Good brew, but I prefer Hammerhead, which I think it resembles in some ways. I’d like to pair this beer with barbeque chicken, grilled corn on the cob and roasted potatoes. carboloader (327), Houston, Texas, USA
