I enjoy all the mcmenamins beers I have had thus far. These small batch brewers are artists to say the least. I love mcmenamins so much I married the love of my life at kennedy school and we enjoyed all of the beers the had to offer that night, the next day, and every winter since.

On Nitro @ North Bank in Eugene. Nice session beer, refreshing and crisp. Hop notes and a nice balanced malt profile.

From the McMenamins in Mill Creek. Translucent orange witih a moderate white head. Aroma is bready malt, fruity apricot, and citrus hops. Flavor is toasty, bready malt with a mild hop bite. A little bland for the style, but not bad.

On tap. Visited more than one McMenamins and tasted more than one of thier brews. Unfortunately I do not remember the details so I am entering this primarily as a record of having tasted them. Hopefully I will make it back out to a McMenamins again someday and get better notes.

Draught. Poured mahogany brown with white head. Hoppy aroma with citrus. Malty flavout with more hop. Good with fish and chips. Lingering malty finish with a tinge of hop

On tap at the Spar in Olympia, WA. Pours a mahogany brown color with a medium tan head that stays around for a while. Aroma is floral with citrus as well. Flavor has malts up front, but the hops gives it sweet/bitter finish. Good brew, but I prefer Hammerhead, which I think it resembles in some ways. I’d like to pair this beer with barbeque chicken, grilled corn on the cob and roasted potatoes.

At Old St. Francis School in Bend. Pours cloudy orange, no head by the time I drank it. Not much aroma to me. Light citrus and fruit with an easy smooth finish. An easy drinker, but very mild.

On tap@Rams Head (nitro). Hazy, dark orange body with a dense white head. Aroma has a light and sweet malt aroma. Flavor is sweet malt, some bitterness, a hint of bread and a bit fruity. Medium body, typical session beer. All in all decent but relatively ordinary but OK.
