A very pleasant raspberry aroma and flavor. My glass is always tipped to brewers for using real fruit in this beer, although I typically don’t care for fruit beers. This beer is quite pale and thin, but for what it is, it’s quite pleasant. Try mixing this with the hammer head and it’s even better.

Oct 18, 2009 A pink grapefruit coloured ale with a thin white head. A faint raspberry pop aroma, with cotton candy sweetness. In mouth, a light sweetish raspberry pop, very light and watery, light sour points, uninteresting. On tap at Six Arms, Seattle, Sept. 12 2009.

Oct 3, 2009 Smells more like sour funk than raspberries with some wheat as well. This is pretty wheaty with some sweetness to it but not too much raspberry. Not that good.

Sep 19, 2009 Sampled as Dad Watsons Ruby at Fremont Oktoberfest. Pours cloudy, the color of pink grapefruit juice. Light aroma of raspberry soda. Light body and carbonation, almost nothing in the taste. Dry finish. Effin near water.

Sep 9, 2009 Aroma of fresh juicy raspberries. Appearance is not unlike a glass of pink grapefruit juice - cloudy and pink. Flavor is very thin - somewhat watery - slight raspberry flavor with a faint bitter finish. Tight carbonation. A very refreshing summer beverage, certainly not a hearty drink.

Aug 18, 2009 Looks like a glass of grapefruit juice. Ruby, cloudy body. Wheat cereal malt with strong raspberry tartness. Dry and rather unappealing.
