My glass is always tipped to brewers for using real fruit in this beer, although I typically don’t care for fruit beers. This beer is quite pale and thin, but for what it is, it’s quite pleasant. Try mixing this with the hammer head and it’s even better.

A faint raspberry pop aroma, with cotton candy sweetness. In mouth, a light sweetish raspberry pop, very light and watery, light sour points, uninteresting. This is pretty wheaty with some sweetness to it but not too much raspberry. Not that good. bitbucket (2034), Kirkland, Washington, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 9, 2009 Aroma of fresh juicy raspberries. Appearance is not unlike a glass of pink grapefruit juice - cloudy and pink. Flavor is very thin - somewhat watery - slight raspberry flavor with a faint bitter finish. Tight carbonation. A very refreshing summer beverage, certainly not a hearty drink. fakepurseninja (785), Washington, USA
