Draft at Roseburg Station; Nose of chocolate and coffee; clear but very dark brown with a small, glass-lacing tan head; flavor is chcolate, caramel, and a light dark fruit note.

Aug 24, 2008 7/18/08 On draught at the Kennedy School. Aroma is rich with roast and creamy sweetness. Appearance is dark brown with a medium maintained tan head. Flavor is sweet and roasty, with some black toast bittering. Mouthfeel is full bodied with low but somewhat biting carb texture. Overall, very good and rich.

Aug 20, 2008 Tasted at the Powerstation at the Edgefield resort. Black, with thin tan head. Almost no aroma. Sweet and smooth, with a bit of a sweet finish that obscures any hops. Like a watered down molasses.

Black colored brew. Roasty aroma. Fruity, chocolate, roasted malts and some bitterness. Nice.

Aug 12, 2008 Draft at McMenamins Queen Anne. Pitch black, very little head. Almost no apparent aroma, at least not in this "scent filled" bar. Rich flavors of dark roasted coffee. Sweet, warming finish. Nice session stout.

Jul 28, 2008 At Old St. Francis School in Bend. Pours opaque with all sorts of roasty nutty flavors. Coffee, chocolate, crisp and easy, slightly dry bitter finish. I would have another of these. A decent stout indeed.
