The aroma is sweet malty with citrusy notes of hops as well as notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, leading to a slightly bitter finish. The mouthfeel is very smooth. Amber colour, mediumsized creamy head. Aroma is nuts, fruits, some very oaky hints. Flavour is wood, some earth, platics and mould. Not the most interesting one. harrisoni (5605), Ashford, Kent, England Jul 9, 2007 Cask handpull at Farriers Arms, St Albans. Copper gold with lasting off white head. A little dull and bland to start with, not much aroma, some hop in mouth and then more hop towards the finish. Distinct hop bitterness on finish. KimJohansen (5208), Copenhagen V, Denmark Aug 4, 2008 Clear golden with tiny white short lasting head. Sweet fruity aroma with notes of floral hops. Sweet and mild hoppy hint and traces of fruit. Mild bitter end.
