From Cask at Abbotsford, Edinburgh. Hazy charneol colour. Fruity aroma with faint maltiness but it’s there. Also some diacetyl. Fairly malty flavour with bit of fruitiness here too. Low bitterness. Nice little beer with a gentle charm.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel. The flavor is spicy with light notes of wood and caramel, leading to a dry end. The body is thin.

Cask (GBBF 2006): Musty grain nose. Some caramel, but mostly just earthy hop flavour. Some boiled vege notes in the aftertaste. A bit boring.

Pint pulled at the Roebuck in Richmond, copper in colour with a slight haze and a think creamy white head. A fruity malt aroma. Juicy malt and some citrus in the flavour and a good level of bitterness. A clean drop, very enjoyable.

GBBF - 2006. A traditional well balanced bitter. Nice, toffee accented malt with a firm but gentle hop edge. There’s a light, summery modern feel to this beer which is grounded in old fashioned values. Spanking!

Cask at GBBF 2006. Amber colour with lasting beige head. Yeasty toffee apple aroma. Apple, ripe aroma. Some fresh toffee and hop on end. Quite a good bitter. Bit watery in mouth.

[Cask at GBBF] Pale amber. Sweetish and overly fruity with medium bodied and bold unrefined malt character. Sugary with notes of vegetables. No bitterness.

Cask conditioned – handpump – GBBF. A copper coloured beer with a buttery unpleasant nose. The taste is sweet and sulphuric. Buttery and cloying. Just not good
