Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - May.
Pale bronze in colour with a fruity hop aroma. The taste is a well balanced combination of biscuity malt and citrus hop flavours to give a thirst quenching finish.

Light gold to blonde ale, thin head. Hoppy and some cinnamon in the nose. Tastes cirtusy, undertones of fresh grass. Smooth and quite thirstquenching

A little greasy, but not bad in taste a little spicy, blonde ale, like Arran ones. Good foam and good taste, not annoying.

Cask (handpump), Spice Of Life, Cambridge Circus. Difficult to know whether this is a one-off or a regular seasonal as information about McMullens non-regular beers is nearly as hard to find as the beers themselves and the McMullen website has no information about beers whatsoever! Anyway, this was a welcome find at one of the two McMullens pubs in central London that I’d only really gone into to take a leak. Fairly pale, amber colour. Dry, with hints of citrus. Clean mouthfeel. Not much depth. Light bitterness on the finish. Decent enough I suppose but I’d call it an archetypal regional brewery session bitter (i.e. worthy but a touch dull).
