Cask@St Albans BF. Butterscotch, caramel, with a grainy bitterness, not too bad, not overly complex.

Mid brown colour. A predominantly malty, nutty best bitter with some sweetness and a dry, slightly bitter finish. Nothing earth shattering, but a pretty good, fairly full bodied, autumn brew. Cask (gravity dispense) at St Albans Beer Festival.

Gravity, at the St. Albans Beer Festival, 2004
Amber with a wonderful frothy, gravity-fresh head that persisted in a sticky fashion. Musk perfume aroma, with generous elderflower sweetness. I really enjoyed this pint. Well selected by Joeh, props to your young man, petty you then proceeded to loose your mind on all the continental firewater.

Cask Conditioned @ the Saturday session, St Albans Beer Festival 2004. Beer #2. Sweet malty, jucy fruits and fairly bitter. Pretty good.
