| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Sep 1, 2005 On draught at McNeill’s, 8/26/2005. Smells of faint yeast, light flowery, heathery hops. Faint whiff of caramel/toffee. Mildly hazy, muddy amber with a light auburn hue. Well-retained, but small head is creamy and off white. YES! Hops and malt explode at first sip; both very balanced and very flavorful. Dry yeast is apparent and adds complexity. Begins with a floral, fresh, green hops flavor, lightly bitter. Hints of roast and a touch of chocolate through the middle, with plenty of toffee. Perfect carbonation and mouthfeel. Light fruitiness in the middle and some graham crackers and honey on the end. VERY drinkable. Good lacing on the glass. Bitterness lingers. beerbuzzmontreal (2931), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2005 Couleur cuivrée foncée aux reflets rouges.
