Commercial Description:
an American style golden ale made with choice midwestern 2 row barley malt. The addition of highly aromatic whole flower hops from the Pacific Northwest give this sparkling ale it's distinctive hop "nose". Fully aged and never filtered, this traditional bottle-conditioned ale may contain a small amount of sediment and must be kept refrigerated.

Thanks to BeanDip for bringing this one home from her vacation to share with me!

Pours a fatty blond body with edges of orange and a bountiful ivory head. The nose and flavor are slightly doughy yeasty. Very aromatic and exceptionally floral! Loads of grapefruit and guava… big suggestions of other milled grains and slightly musty. The mouth-feel was rather chewy and left the lips somewhat sticky.

I’m surprised that may of the rather didn’t enjoy this brew, I thought it reasonably tasty!

Hazy deep golden in color with a small white head.Aromas of butterscotch and sweet malt. Flavors of sweet caramel malt with a floral hoppiness.

Bottle - Golden yellow with a sparce whitish head and very little lacing. Aroma is of light maltiness with an initial dose of hops when the bottle is opened. Unfortunately this hop aroma does not continue through the event. Flavor has a yeasty sourness that is not unpleasant. Finish is mildly hoppy (bitter) and dry. Drinkable, but not my favorite.

On Tap: Pours a bright clear golden with a puffy white head. Aroma is malty sweet and nicely accented with a good amount of hops. Body is grainy and full of grapefruit flavor with a very nice malt/hop balance. Finishes dry and crisp. A very nice blond ale.

Tiny white head tops this deep golden colored brew. Sweet around the middle with lite hoppy and dry finish. Unimposing but drinkable.

Gracious conifer and citrus hops predominate in a very light malt body...A dab of honey and a filet of caramel, topped with a sparse orange zest culminate in a dry feel...A pleasant quaffer for hopheads, otherwise not very eloquent...

Golden yellow. Bubbly white head. Fruity floral nose. Pale faint malts, lighty sweet, light to medium bodied, finishing with pleasant perfumey, floral hops. Very drinkable, yet another damn good brew from Ray!
