Bottle reads best if by 6/04, but it is a bottle conditioned ale. Piney aroma with some floral hop notes as well. To start I taste a splash of pineapple, with moderate hops in the middle with a watery finish. Very drinkable, sweet finish. A decent brew. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

Tons of floaties, kind of turned me off. Spicy citrus, and pine aroma. Citrus bitter hop taste, orange peel, and a nice sweet caramel malt. The bitter citrus taste was very nice. Rerate Bumped appearance up one point because there was no sediment in this bottle, and quite frankly, I liked it better this way. sfontain (506), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 21, 2004 22 oz. bomber. Darker brown and murky with lots of smallish floating yeast. Initially has a pretty sizeable, off-white head that dies down rather quickly. Aroma is mostly citrus and hops with a hint of caramel and perhaps some vanilla. Flavor is bready with a nice, mellow maltiness up front, and a very pleasant hop bite in the finish with some pretty good staying power. Some caramel in there somewhere. Medium body, slightly creamy and sticky, but a little less carbonation than I would like. I had half of this bomber with spaghetti with marinara and garlic bread, and this accompanied the meal very nicely. Overall, very solid. VTHopHead (928), Barre, Vermont, USA
