Bouteille de 650 ml acheté le 9 jullet 2009, à Charles Street Liquors à Boston, bu le 4 septembre. Orange foncée brumeuse, petit collet. Arome d’houblon mi-amère, orange crèmeux. Goût d’houblon fruité sûrette, bonne touche d’agrume, bonne amèrturme. Très savoureuse, une bonne IPA fruité!

The appearance is a cloudy, murky apricot orange; pure apple cider. Big puffy head. Tiny carbonation bubbles. The head is just huge. Murky, hazy and amazing-looking. The smell is heavy, resiny hop. A tad musty, but also a little spicy like a Belgian ale. Floral with some orange peel. The taste is heavy, resiny hop. Some deep, dark malt, like rye bread. There is a Belgian yeast spiciness that I didn’t see coming. Funky with some hops, though not a taste I’d say I crave. The feel is milky but with a fizzy bite. Like a thick Belgian ale.A sipper. Could use a bit more "liquidity." Overall, it’s funky like a Belgian ale, moreso really than it is an IPA. Good, but misleading. Doesn’t quite live up to its appearance.

22oz bottle-pours a dissipating light tan head and copper color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel, orange. Taste is orange/some pine hops, medium malt-caramel, towards medium body. Easy, malty, towards a PA.

Cask Stillage at the GBBF Earl’s Court, London 08/08/2008 Fruity aroma. Amber mid brown coloured and a little rich on the palate. Slightly hazy in appearance. Hoppy with a crisp and bitter lasting finish.

Hazy amber pour with nice one finger froth. Aroma is floral, herbal, and citrus with some spicy notes as well. Flavor is floral with apricot and caramel notes. Palate is a tad on the thin side, with the finish being somewhat dry. Unique but a little rough around the edges.

Bottle - thanks mcox90. A hazy brownish golden pour (almost like a dull honey color) with a huge beige head. Strong nose is sweet with citrus, light florals, and a hint of yeast. The strong presence of a Belgian yeast and spicyness really caught me off guard. Lingering florals and some malt character. Kind of gets sour and a little soapy in the tail. Different, but not something I’d have again.

From the 1 pint. 6 fl. oz. bottle with a July-August notched off expiration date. The pour is a rather cloudy amber-reddish tone with a silky beige head. The aroma is more spicy and yeasty than hoppy but it is still a pleasing one. The hops are much more evident in the taste than the aroma with something kind of floral as well.
