(Bottle). Sweet orange and tangerine aroma. Very cloudy orange-amber body, small off-white head. Flavor is sweet grapefruit, trace of caramel, that transitions to a delicious lengthy mildly bitter finish. Excellent, and wonderfully refreshing.

Light unclear medium amber orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, prune, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, shell. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and light heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (080808)

Cask at GBBF08. Cloudy dark amber colour. Good hop flavour, grassy and grapefruity. OK sweetness to balance. Medium to high bitterness.

Cask at the brewery. Very hazy amber-orange pour with a tight laced beige head. Aroma is lightly herbal and orangey with a touch of tobacco and earthiness. There is a lightly crackery malt base with that typical oxidized papery malt character that seems to be part of the house character here. Very leafy with a touch of resiny bitterness. Assertive leafy/earthy hop finish. It’s okay, but not great.

Cask@GBBF2008. Hazy amber/nutbrown colour, not much head. Aroma is US hops, spices, some nice fruityness and a bit of earth. Flavour is hops, caramel, spices and some notes of nectarine. Dry hay and grass along with spices in the finish.

Cask at GBBF 08. Hazy copper, thin bubbly beige head. Bit too earthy, probably on too early. Only a bit of carbonation. Decent hop, but just too muddy.

Draught. Medium high fluffy and long lasting off-white head. Hazy dark amber body. Lowvely clear fruity aroma of apples pears and banana. Hops dominated flavor of course but for once the fruit is more evident than normally. Low carbonation. Long bitter aftertaste.
