Pours a three finger cream head that fades slowly to a thin layer leaving some lace. Cloudy amber color. Light to medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Piney hop nose. Flavor is hops and tart citrus. Light lingering bitter finish. Similar to their DIPA but lighter bodied. Not as hoppy as some American IPAs. $2.99 for a 22oz bottle from Beverage Warehouse Winooski, VT.

Caramel pour with decent head. Nice sturdy hops pined out light citrus dustyness, almost mouth drying with a warming rasiny touch of sugary malts. Well proportioned, but not a tremendous amount of depth- its better than my rating would sugguest and rather tasty

Compliments of Uncle Steve from his traels to distant and foreign Lands north of the Mason Dixon Line. Shared with the Doctor of Destruction, DrBayern, the Chief of Cool, Celtic Brew, and the Purveyer of Promise, Brian the Beer Pimp. Poured a cloudy copper color with a light head hanging on the edge. The aroma was citrusy and fair. I found the mouthfeel rather thin, with some hoppynesss on the back side.

8th August 2008. On tap at GBBF. Hazy dark brown beer. Sour dry IPA with lots of grapefruit bitterness. Not the smoothest or subtlest of IPAs but sure wakes the taste buds! Low carbonation.

Bottle at Chris_o’s "smash Kook’s granny tasting". Alround rating: Grassy bittering hop, some plastic coming through, floral in the finish but particularly bitter.

Bomber, compliments of Steve-O. Poured a golden hue, formed HUGE foamy head. Aroma of light malts, a bit of faint hops. Flavour much of the same, somewhat tinny, metallic character. Just drinkable, just barely.

22oz bomber courtesy of VanillaMike poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy golden orange with a big creamy beige head that leaves very little lacing but does stick around as a cap for a while. The aroma is weird for an IPA with a very musty, earthy presence as well as a bit of tartness. There is plenty of sweet malts and even a spicy yeast aroma in the nose. The hops are present with some citrus and grassy hops, but not that prevalent. The taste has an even more noticeable tartness up front. It’s partly from a lemony hop presence but there’s also a distinctly Belgian yeast character that makes the finish spicy with some musty bitterness, if that makes sense. There are some fruity hops floating around on the tongue but the earthiness and tartness seems to distract from all else. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and extremely dry and earthy in the finish. The feel is much more like a Belgian IPA than an English or American IPA. This is an interesting beer but the big Belgian presence doesn’t seem to come together with everything else. The mustiness is really unique but no altogether pleasing. Pretty good.

Pours amber with a white head. Smells of wildflowers, sage, earthy. Tastes bitter and floral with some citrussy splashes on the finish.
