Thanks to whomever brought this to Noogfest II. This opaque orange-ish brew has some nice balance between malts & hops. It’s finish was unfortunately dry & dusty.

This strong ale pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is floral and sweet. A medium bodied English Strong Ale. Malts are fruity and bready. Hops are earthy and floral. Nice balance. Touch of citrus and a little tart. Nice beer. Soft carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours a dark gold. The flavor has a thin maltiness along wiht a seemingly misplaced bitterness. The hop character is not really there except in that bitterness. Not really bad though.

semi-opaque hazy apricot color. thin white head, aroma of toffee and butterscotch, hops, and bread/yeast. Good malt characteristics, flavor is much like the aroma with a splash of lemon added into the mix.

A murky orange appearance. A spicy citrus aroma. The flavor is rather tame with some sour citrus notes and a bready presence. Not bad but not much to this beer.

Enjoyed this one on cask pulled from a beer enginee at the brewery in Brattleboro, VT. Pours to a murky, light amber color with a thick, and creamy white head, and a moderate amount of carbonation. The nose is very inviting on this beer with aromas of pale and sweet malt, paired with some light citrus hop notes. The palate is soft and fat on the tongue, with good pale, biscuit and sweet malt. This is paired with soft notes of estery, ripe fruit. This beer finishes with more biscuity malt flavor up front, then ends with some citrus bitterness that takes the cloying edge off this beer. Excellent pint of beer, a great one to relax with at the bar.
