Bottle - Pours a hazy dark amber with very little head and very little carbonation. Aroma is lightly citrus, floral and hops. Flavor is of floral hops with slight citrus and mild bitterness. Finish is short and mildly floral hops and bitterness. Somewhat diappointing for McNeill’s.

Burtonized and bitterlike, this is hard to classify without knowing the ABV. Not too much different that the Harvey’s Tom Paine the other night. Wildly earthy stuff, this is a bit more fruity than the Harveys. Delicious. A little orangey, with your iron.

Hazy light amber in color with a small white lacing around the rim. Citrus aroma. Clean malt flavor, with a touch of bread and sweet malt. Finishes slightly drier, yet thin and watery.

Poured a light amber color with a smallish head. Nice initial hop bite like a nice IPA but ended up tasting like a medium hoppy pale. Dry finish.

Traditional amber color with a large bubbled white head. Faint hoppy aroma. Musty old english feel though the hops seem to counterbalance making it tolerable.

a solid snowstorm head atop dark orange...sweet mango-citrus blends of fruity hop aromas with a slight floral touch..low carbination leads to an upfront blow of bitterness singing in tunes of sour orange and grapefruit soothing into hop flowers..a hidden malt backing lends to the unbalanceness...but its drinkable.

(1 pint 6 oz bottle) Pours a thin, white head and an orange body. Huge and numerous sediment chunks the size of minced garlic. Floral nose with undertones of pine. Nice tart hop flavour with a mellow caramel finish. Good. Many thanks to MartinT for making this available to me...

Proficient, sweet berry malt transforms into a pine hop-powered palate heater...A touch of lemony acidity softens the bitter flow as a gloomy, humid conifer floor carefully rises...The firmament has echoed the fall of summer into my glass...
