Poured black wth a tan brown head. Aroma of cocoa, berry, citrus, roast, and a slight astringency. Flavor of rum and licorice, some roast, chocolate and alcohol. Finishes with a dark and bitter flavor. Good, but slightly acidic.

Black pour, nice tan colored creamy head. Nose of coffee and chocolate, subdued notes of earthy fruit. Palate is a touch light for an impy stout, carbonation is a bit too much. Flavor is a bunch of coffee bitterness and roastiness with a little dark chocolate.

(Bottle) Pours an opaque black body with a large long-lasting brown head. Aroma of roastiness, toasted marshmallow, lactose, and chocolate. Flavor of roasted malt, coffee, and hops with lots of carbonation in the mouthfeel and a dry, bitter finish.

On tap at McNeill’s. Creamy chocolately malted milk and coffee, light smoke and broth, mild sour soy sauce. A bit of light smokiness. Pitch bkack clear with cocoa brown creamy lacing head. Heavy creamy body with mld carbonation. Starts with some broth and malted chocolate notes. Coffee and smoke, mild bitter finish and after. Meaty smoky finish, a beer with substance. Almost too much to bear as my lastbeer of the evening. Smooth chocolate smoky finish, with good smoky after. A very nice imp stout.

Bottle sampled at An Evening with Pantanap #4. Thanks to andrew for bringing this beer in. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of chocolates, nuts, soy sauce, and vegetables. The chocolate flavors are overtaken by soy and sour grain notes. Finishes dry and rather sour. Kinda ok. 5/3/4/3/11 = 2.6

Frow a growler on Dark Lord Day, thanks to who ever brought this. Pours pitch black with a thin tan head. Hoppy nose all around the roasted and chocolate aromas. Dark chocolate flavors, lots of coffee and pine. Body is a little thin, but a decent beer none the less. 7/4/8/3/15 = 3.7

Bottle shared by bgburdman at C-Bus 6, thanks! Black pour with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt a bit off coffee as well. Flavors of roasted malt, bitter coffee, and bakers chocolate were evident as well as some earthy hops. A bit over carbonated and a bit thin in body as far as the mouthfeel is concerned though it did have a nice roasty finish.
