Tobacco and chocolade aroma. Sharp tobacco taste with a soft dry bitter coffee finish. Quite ok.

Appealing rich thick black with a good dense brown head. Caramel, toffee, roasted coffee bean aroma. Smooth flavorful body, good subtle sweetness and nice drinkablility. My only complaint is that it's a little thinner than it appears.

Dark brown, small creamy looking head .Aroma - malt roasted almost to perfection, strong and soft at once. Flavour was lighter and body was a bit to thin. If it was not so light /thin this would be great beer.

Black w/ ruby hue. Brown head. Robust aroma of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, & figs. Feel is slightly thin for style. Some roasty bitterness but flavours wash out & are somewhat watery.

Seriously opaque with a medium tan head. Interesting herbal medicinal and milk coffee aroma. Chocolatey smooth palate. I found the bitter strong harshish roasted malt a bit overpowering. Finish is bitter artificial.

Wondrous milky oatmeal aroma leading to dry vinous raisins of inebriation...Vestigious resinous hops are overpowered by the lengthy roasted malt finale as the palate is slowly numbed to lasciviousness...A pious representant of the dessert beer cult...

(WCC2003) Viscous black black with small brown head. Aroma is rich cofee, medium sweet, chocolate. Taste is coffee bitter, some sweet, some chocolate. Finish is muted chococoffee. Medium-full body, but watery.
