Bottle: I don't know how I waited so long for this one. Butterscotch, carmel roasty, evergreen, honey, butter all come to mind on the nose. Good slightly hazy orange brown color. Little head disappeared quick. Roasty, sweet, little root or birch beer. Roasted malt and a sweet buttery flavor. Kinda creamy, chewy linguring bitterness. A great brew.

Nice creamy head and a good malty aroma. Body has a sweet malty caramel taste, with just enough bitterness. This bottle has held up quite well for the past year or so.

Nice hazy brown color with orange shining through the glass. Lots of floaties on the second pour. One inch head with lace down the glass. Caramel, alcohol, and fruit in the nose. Bitter caramel covered apple in the mouth, warming alcohol in the throat. Another winner from McNeill's!

I was feeling many other beers at this point and my palate was shot to hell. Dark caramel in color with floaties, same as the other guys. Quite a mouthful of hops.

Lots of chunks, and they were big, too. Hoppy, sweet aroma. Sweet flavor, hoppy with citrus notes. Dry finish.

Pours a murky brown with lots of chunks. Sweet caramel oak malty aroma. Flavor is sweet, somewhat dry and bitter, but not very refined, almost bland. Still hides its alcohol well and has some moderate complexity.

Brown and very cloudy, small head rims the glass. Carmel & malt aroma. Bread, malt and carmel flavor. Some bitterness on the finish. Good Olde Ale

On tap at Redbones. Pour is a dirty brown, thin tan head which lasts pretty much the whole way down. Aroma is light, but mostly bready, with some citrus and pine. Flavor starts sweet (caramel, butterscotch), some breadyness comes up, and then a good bit of hops show through at the end. Medium body, quite tasty, and wel hidden 9% alcohol.
