Lightly spicy nose with notes of debittered malt and cocoa. Semi-sweet, chocolatey flavor with some balancing acidity suggesting plums and cooked dark fruits. A medium-bodied, well-balanced porter. Decent overall. Dorwart (1822), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA

Light coffee, milk chocolate and roasted grains in the aroma. Color is a very dark brown/black. Rich roasted flavor of blackened grains, a hint of coffee and some dark chocolate. Little bit of bitterness. Lively palate. Thin to medium bodied. Finish is charcoal and bitterness without the grit of typical carbon. A very good porter. My palate does not note the sweetness as some of the other raters. argo0 (6958), Washington DC, USA

Pours dark brown and opaque with almost no head. Aroma is dark roasty malts, coffee, dandelion and floral hops. Roasty, slightly sweet flavor with bitterness present both from the dark malts and the floral hops, along with a bit of the sour-astringency that I lovingly associate with a good porter. Medium body and little to no carbonation. Pretty nice porter overall. Sregnar35 (730), Rotterdam, New York, USA
