Floating bunnies. Aroma is malty and hoppy with caramel and cherries. Flavor is a little malty up front with a little sourness (old bottle? I just bought it today), some caramel and butteriness, and lots and lots of hops. The hop flavor is very powerful and overwhelms most of the other stuff. Reasonably thick and lasts in the mouth for an above-average time. Very good IPA, but I won’t be buying more of this soon. beerbuzzmontreal (2921), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Powerfull, intense, amazing flavor and bitterness of hops followed with a nice ,sweet flavor. This beer is a definte must for any hophead, especially on tap at the pub. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 6, 2004 Orange hop nose. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Burnished copper with light tan, pillowy head. Some floaties. Decent lace. Strongly botter with plenty of American hop (pine, citrus) flavour. It rather overwhelms any malt character. Bitterness is long and lasting. Creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Love the low tech label. Bottle. Thanks muzzlehatch. fomentateur (110), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 29, 2004 I really should rate this beer higher cause it reminds me of an old homebrew recipe I use to make, only mine really was better. Ah yes, caramel malt, roastd barley, and a touch of chocolate and black patent. Hopped with the four "c"’s. Deep copper color, not quite amber. There was not really any head but I swear I could see hop oils on the surface. There should have been a good malt flavor but the amount of hops overwhelmed any malt character. Citric and fruity was really all I got. Other than that there was a nice balance with the bitterness. Lingering hops in the finish. warrior (213), Mt. Wolf, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 10, 2004 Poured with very little head clear ruby red color that does not show many co-2 bubbles. Great cascade gragefruit type hop aromas with some caramel malt in the backgound. Flavor is a full hop with bitterness and smoe caramel malt to help balance the hop bitterness. The beer leans more towards the hop bitterness than the caramel malt. My only complaint is that the beer was almost flat. This beer was bottle conditioned but it wasn't left go long enough or not enough primer was added to the bottle. The flavor is great and I can overlook the semi flat beer. Sweet, malty aroma with minimal head. Concord grapes are a flavor in here as this stuff is pretty damn hoppy. I had this paired with a bitter green salad with a grapefruit vinegarette at a brewers dinner. This guy cam make some beer. DrGonzo (625), Somerville, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 22, 2003 On tap. This beer is just bathing in citrus and floral hops, with an oily malt backing. Despite my opposition to IPA's lately, this beer impressed me with its somewhat unique hop aroma and drinkability. Not bad at all. jah noth (1020), Rochester, New York, USA
