Pours a one finger cream head that fades slowly to a thin layer leaving some lace. Cloudy amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Grapefruit hop nose. Flavor is grapefruit hops and hints of caramel. Lingering bitter finish. Needs more malt for a imperial IPA. $3.99 for a 22oz bottle from Beverage Warehouse Winooski, VT.

22oz Bottle, purchased at Wakefield Liquors - Wakefield, RI. Musky orchid-filled outgassing, rich with Tahitian vanilla bean, peaches, and juicy resins. Pleasant and rich. Pours a hazy orange skin and sunset, with a soapy off-white lace. Flavor develops bright hop-filled alcohols, candied bitter orange peel, drying sweetgrass and a bit of salty salicornia. A thick luscious malt body helps play off the aggressive hop flavor. Spicy and musky as alcohols draw into the nose. This has a wonderful hop bouquet, a well-balanced body, and rich complex flavor profile. Excellent. Some might saw it was a touch sweet, a little hot, and edging dusty, but those edges can easily be overlooked, because this beer done well.

Great to take home and ferment awhile as we sat by the fire. 22oz bomber from the east side, went down great and simple, also carried and ton of hops that made me giggle some, quite an excursion.

22 oz. bottle. Pours cloudy brown amber with tan head. Floral, sweet piney, pineapple nose. Taste is citric sharp, sour finish, fruity / pineapple, quite hoppy bitterness. This is an interesting imp. ipa, certainly different. Pretty good.

Pours deep amber into a snifter. Off-white micro head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Dark caramel and pine aromas. Sweet summer pit fruit and caramel upfront. Lasting dry pine resin finish.

22oz bottle, hazy amber-orangeyish hue, with a small thick beige head, sweet candyish, toasty, caramelized malt, fruity nose of candied peaches, apricots, orange peels, with a faint floral hop citrus, leafy accent, with a hint of clover leaf heartiness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet candied fruity, peachy, orange peel, toasted, caramelized malt, flowery hop piney character, with some resinous, cedary, lemon zest notes, with a leafy mintiness accent, leading towards a warming, citrusy, hop piney, leafy, dryness finish. I was expecting more from this beer.

A hazy orange amber ale with a thick off white head. In aroma, a pleasant c-hops with light herbal malt. In mouth, a nice resinous c-hops, mentol coolness, lingering over rich malts. Nice and smooth I2PA. On tap at brewpub August 2 2009.

Bottle courtesy of Dave on 07/12/2009. Somewhat hazy caramel body with a small frothy off-white head. Fruity caramel and floral hop aroma. Sweet floral hop and earthy malt flavor. Medium full body with moderately high carbonation.
