Pours a cloudy orange amber color with a ring of white lace. Decent aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon and candied fruits. Flavor of nutmeg, cinnamon and candied fruits with a bitter finish, there’s something unpleasant in there. The palate is light and dry.

Thin head with little carbonation. Spicy aroma with a plethora of spices including nutmeg, mint and spruce. Your typical Christmas holiday smells. Pale orange in color. Could have used a little more red, Ha Ha. Spicy flavor with more mint and gingerbread. Light crisp body. Dry palate with a bit of chalkyness. Dry finish with plenty of lingering spices. A decent holiday ale.

Bomber - Pours a cloudy reddish brown amber with a thin white head that disappeared quickly. Aroma is of cloves/nutmeg/cinnamon and maybe a hint of corriander (?). Flavor is initally sweet and heavy with the clove/nutmeg/cinnamon. The sweetness is quickly followed up with a quite bitter finish that lingers. This is an OK spiced winter brew, but I wish that the initial maltiness meant a heaftier amount of malt than is apparent. Worth repeating...

Smell cinnamon/cloves/wintergreen/honey. Tastes like pumpernickel bread, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Slight sweetness, moderate breadiness. Warming, well balanced, very tasty....but...aftertaste of chalky....Pepto Bismol....?

Poured a medium, hazy orange color with a small white head. Perfumy aroma with spices. Stronger peppermint tastes in addition to the spices. Thinner body.
