12 oz bottle. Deep dark brown colour, no head to speak of. Sour, thin aroma with some earthiness. Flavour is pale malt, char, and cheap adjuncty lager. Really bad.

12 oz. bottle. Poured dark brown with a heavily carbonated tan head. Pleasant aroma of sweet roasted malt. Flavor is a bit disappointing. Somewhat sweet with barely a hint of hops. Thin, almost watery mouthfeel. Lots of better options out there.

was simply not impressed with this beer. found it flat in flavor and I tried 2 to be sure. Pours lovely dark with a slight head but just not flavorful enough for me.

Bottle. Poured dark brown with a huge creamy light brown head that lasted. Light balanced malt and hop toasted aroma. Medium body with a thin texture. Moderate sweet toasted malt flavor with an average finish. Looks can be a trap.

Dark brown with a light brown head that diminished rather quickly. Aroma is muted stout aromas with some cardboard. Watery. No taste really at all. Very sweet like water with sweet and low in it.

Ugh, sweet and overly carbonated. Adjunct. If you want to go for a pre-mixed b+t I’d recommend you go for saranac or yuenglings before headin in this direction.

Definitely not my favorite beer. But com’on.. it is a mcsorleys.. the oldest continuously operated pub in nyc. Sand on the floor... need I say more? Drink it for the memory, not for the taste.

On draught at the bar. Why call this a black and tan? What’s black and tan about it. Watery swill with some light malty flavors. Avoid this one. Stick to the ale.
