12oz dark but thin bodied. Uninspired and forgetable. On a saide note... Im curious why McSorley B&T is brewed by Miller and the Ale is brewed at Lions. Anyone with answers pm me.

I don’t quite get the whole black and tan thing. Why not just brew a dark lager or a light porter? This is clearly just marketing and itself isn’t so successful as a beer. Brown color and caramelly tastes leave this not without its good points, though.

Bottle. Poured dark brown with a huge creamy light brown head that lasted. Light balanced malt and hop toasted aroma. Medium body with a thin texture. Moderate sweet toasted malt flavor with an average finish. Looks can be a trap.

Copper/ruby colored, with aroma of malt, toffee, some chocoff and almonds. More like a nut brown than a stout. Finishes smooth. This one is at the high end of the low end beers.

Pours brown into the glass with a nice tan/white head. Aroma is sweet and corny. Taste is similar to the other mcsoreys with slightly less sweetness

Nothing special. Dark, with no head, this is what stood out to me. I need to get more stouts under my belt though.

On tap. Dark, small white head. Smooth and refreshing, malty flavors with caramel, slightly bitter finish. Nothing special.
