On tap at the White Horse, 29th July 09. Very cloudy amber. Belgian yeast / tripel aroma and flavour. Very doughy. Medium palate. Enjoyable, but you can’t rush it.

Cask (handpump) @ Brew Wharf, Stoney Street, Southwark, London, Greater London England SE1 9AD.
Unclear hazy light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, moderate yeasty, orange, banana - peach, spiced. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. IMO more like a weat beer ! [20090731]

Keg at the Union. Very pleasant soft wheat beer with crisp, but not aggressive carbonation. Gentle wheat flavour with memories of bubblegum and an attractive sweet impression on the palate. minimal hop awareness - balance to the sweetness is provided by a restrained tartness of the wheat. Highly enjoyable.

(Draught at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 7 Aug 2009) Hazy pale amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with spices, coriander and a touch of wheat. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of wheat, peaches, herbs and a touch of fresh coriander. Low bitterness. Slightly below medium body, balanced sweetness. Not as tasty and complex as some of the better Belgian versions but still a decent shot at the saison style with lots of wheat character.

Cloudy golden with a small white head. Banana and grass aroma with a hint of cloves. Flavour is fruity and only slightly spicier and more complex than a weizen.

Cask @ Brew Warf London. A hazy golden colored beer, with a small white head. The aroma of yeast with malts and fruits. The taste is dry with some bitter. It’s fruity like citrus and orange. There are notes of some sourness. The aftertaste is bittersweet with a little sour.
