Commercial Description:
Available in 330ml bottle and Keg.
A gentle maltiness on the nose deceives as a massive hop flavour envelopes the tongue. Lots of organic Perle and Halletauer hops give the correct levels of bitterness, making this delicately hued pilsner true to the German style, as well as enabling it to stand up much better than most lagers to stronger flavours such as mature cheeses, hams and smoked meats, or oily fish.

33cl bottle. Pale, clear golden yellow with an initially large white head, though this soon disappeared. Straw and grass hop aromas, some grain. Caramel malt base, some lemon with a crisp and dry grassy hop flavour. Some nice, delicate bitterness in the finish. Not as aggresively carbonated in the mouth as it looks in the glass with a thin but not watery body.

Bottle that I picked up from Sainsbury’s, Kidlington, Oxon, recently. Pours gold, clean, crisp and moderately bitter, its about where I would expect it to me and as a glugging beer whilst I cooked it did the trick. A5 A4 F6 P3 Ov11 2.9

Pretty unremarkable stuff. Pale gold, not quite clear, almost no head. Musty hoppy, but strongly hoppy with notes of saltiness ... which I guessis a mark of the Halletauer. Liking it more as it warms.

330ml bottle from Sainsburys. Clear gold in colour with a frothy white head. Hay and sweet malts aroma. Flavour began sweet, before some decent fruit and grassy hops and moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Champagne-style 330ml bottle. A clear bright yellow lager with a fluffy lasting white head. Healthy nose of bready sweet malt with understated grassy hops and citrus elements. Initial honey malt palate is nicely balanced by the hop bitterness and soft fruity flavours. Light-medium bodied with a smooth drinkability. An excellent German-style pilsner by this London-based brewery who obviously know their stuff.

Bottle, bought at Cockneys, Aarhus. Pours clear, lightly pale golden with a small, white head. Aroma is a bit sugary sweet, but has a nice flowery hoppy edge to it. Highish carbonation, fine mouthfeel - fitting the style well. Begins with a sweet and malty side before turning well bitter and hoppy with limited dryness. Fine pilsner.

Bottle 33cl. @ home.
Clear medium to light dark yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, grass notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (140808)
